For the past several years I tried to participate in the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride in Geneva (DGR), but every year something happened that prevented me from traveling or made it impossible for me to fit it into my busy schedule.

It was a great atmosphere -- a group of like-minded people, out to have fun and raise money. Many were dressed in vintage clothes, but most people dressed up a bit. Even my riding jacket was covered in a shirt and tie, I wore it with a shirt and tie.
We saw about 400 bikes. It was a mix of vintage, modern vintage,IWC Aquatimer Replica and just modern. At 12:15 on a beautiful early autumn Sunday, we set out to walk the streets with a police escort.
Safety riders and police made sure we didn't stop at any stoplights or stop signs and that we didn’t have to yield at corners or roundabouts.
